About Niña Sandejas
Niña Sandejas is a music photographer and writer for the music industry since 2004.
Her photography has taken her all over covering events in the Philippines, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Dubai and South Africa.
A Red Bull Photographer since 2013, Niña is one of six in the world and one of the first women invited to attend the super-exclusive 2019 Red Bull Photography Academy in South Africa.
She has covered festivals such as PULP Summer Slam, Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, Laneway Festival Singapore, Singfest, Big Night Out, Dubai Rockfest.
She is also the official photographer of FlipTop Battle League, the largest and most viewed Rap Battle League in the world.
Her photos have been published in Giant Robot (US), Time Out Singapore, Her World (Singapore), Provoke (Indonesia), The AU Review (Australia), (Philippines), PULP, UNO, Playboy, FHM, Manila Bulletin, Rogue, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Philippine Star, Preview Magazine among others.
Niña was a Yahoo! Philippines journalist from 2011 to 2014 and wrote about photography, music and travel. She also maintained a monthly column for PULP Magazine called “One Hip Wonder” for 2008 - 2011.
Niña is was part of Preview Magazine’s Creative IT List in 2011 and was named “The Archivist” in “One of the 14 Women Who Rock” by ROGUE Magazine in 2012.
Niña has done still photography for movies and was invited to the 2009 Toronto International Film Fest for her production work in a local film called “Dinig Sana Kita”.
Niña has taught over 100 budding photographers through her exclusive masterclass since 2010 and has shared her knowledge with huge crowds at Sony Digital Workshops all over the country.
